GENPER
Genper has been producing expanded perlite for several industries, notably filtering and construction, in its Istanbul-based plant since 1980. With its staff members who are well-experienced in their field and moder facilities. It adops the philosophy of quality in service and production. Further, it engages in perlit filling of groyogenic tanks by means of its 12 mobile furnaces holding CE certificate at home and abroad. Besides, Genper will open the biggest expansion plant of Turkey with a covered area of 5000sqm in July 2006. The plant is expected to produce 15.000 ton perlite per year. Continue>>

Perlite is not a trade name but a generic term for naturally occurring siliceous rock. The distinguishing feature which sets perlite apart from other volcanic glasses is that when heated to a suitable point in its softening range, it expands from twenty times its original volume.
